How odd that one block from our hotel in Newcastle, they happened to be filming a Bolly.

Turns out this was a location shoot for the hindi film Kaun Bola, with hunky superstar Arshad Warsi (that’s Warsi getting the fake tears). Earlier in the day was the stunt bit involving the red car zooming around the Newcastle Theatre Royal and doing a nasty roll. Pity we missed that. For this shoot, however, we got to witness a few takes of Warsi giving desperate assistance to the poor actress visibly shivering on the cold pavement… A pretty groovy diversion. Must find Kaun Bola when it’s released.
